ATMA means soul in Sanskrit language.
He works with Shahrokh Pourmayamin.
The ATMA's New vocal is Amir Jalali.

The style of the band is a mixture of House, New Age & Rock.
Believe it or not, ATMA is going to be a huge surprise.

Trial & Error

 Babak Riyahipour

Babak’s first solo album, Trial & Error, was recorded in Bamahang studio in 2002. This album reflects Babak’s experience and approach towards different music styles during 14 years of bass playing. Some of the songs on the album are from the Trial & Error band era, which he had co-founded in Germany. The name of the album is also a tribute to that creative era. Playing mainly his Armen Blbolian custom made six string Bass on the album, Babak has used elements of Rock, Pop, Jazz and funk, New Age and World to create his music.

The mixture of instrumental and vocal tracks along with Sharam Sherbaff ’s wonderful production adds a special and interesting flavour to the album.

The ten songs on this album couldn’t have been made without the creative contribution of all musicians playing on this album, including Hooman Javid (vocals), Nasser Azizi (voice), Ali Shokrani (electric guitar) Shahrokh Izadkhah (electric and acoustic guitar and se-tar), Kasra Ebrahimi (Drum programming), Eynollah Keyvanshokooh (The Iranian drum veteran), Reza Moghaddas (keyboards) and Manoochehr Saremi (Trumpet).
